Why animals lead every catalog
On the leading brand site, animal designs outnumber every other family — more than 400 SKUs against roughly 280 for food. The reason is collecting: a child who owns one duck wants the pink duck, the glitter duck and the flocked duck. Animal lines are built for repeat purchases, and that is what makes them the safest first order for a new importer.
The characters that move in 2026
Capybara, axolotl, duck, hamster, turtle and penguin lead the search data and the social feeds. Cat and dog shapes are evergreen but crowded. A practical first carton mixes two trending characters with two evergreen ones, so the display sells through even if a trend cools before the container lands.
Finishes turn one mould into a series
The same axolotl mould yields a solid colour, a transparent glitter version, a flocked version and a glow-in-the-dark version. Rarity tiers (common, rare, ultra-rare) are just finish assignments. This is how a 12-piece display box gets opened by the same customer four times.
Spec sheet from a real production sample
From a supplier catalog we reviewed in September 2026: glitter-gel bear 10 × 6.3 cm, about 84 g, 288 pieces per carton (24 boxes × 12), carton 65 × 27 × 54 cm; glitter-gel axolotl 8.2 × 9.7 × 4.3 cm, 122.6 g, 240 pieces per carton (12 boxes × 20), carton 65 × 27 × 28 cm. Ask any supplier for the same four numbers before you ask for a price.
How to order
Start with one mixed carton across four characters and two finishes. Request the ASTM F963-23 report number and a written no-water-bead statement with the quote. Sample cost is normally credited against the first order.
